THE JACK AND JILL COMPETITION BRAND
We have created Esencia J&J, a brand dedicated to social dance competition in the Jack and Jill category. This format is ideal for social bachata dancers who wish to stand out on a global scale.
How to participate
To participate in our competitions, you must first purchase a ticket through Go and Dance. After your purchase, we will send you an email requesting a dance video.
This video will be evaluated to determine if you meet the advanced level required for the competition. Only advanced-level dancers are accepted to ensure a high-quality competition.

COMPETITION RULES
How The Competition Will Be Held
format
The eliminations will be divided into 3 or 4 groups, depending on the number of participants. Each group will be split into followers and leaders. Each participant will be assigned a number, and pairs will be formed randomly within each group.
dynamics
Each group will dance to 4 songs, each lasting 1.5 minutes. After each song, there will be a partner change, resulting in 4 partner changes per group.
final
The final will be danced in couples, randomly assigned at the beginning. Each couple will dance to 2 songs, each lasting 1.5 minutes. The judges will determine the best couple, who will be declared the winners.
